Parts A and B are Original Medicare and are sponsored by the government.

Part C, Medicare Advantage, is private health insurance. It includes coverage for Parts A & B, and sometimes D, depending on the plan.

Part D, Prescription Drug Coverage is also available through a private health insurer.

Medicare Supplement plans help pay  some costs not covered by Parts  A and B.

It is important to understand that Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) does not cover all of your medical expenses. Learn about the other Medicare options that are available and why they may be right for you.
