No matter how busy you are, it’s important to remember to take care of yourself, too.

Many caregivers take on this extra role in addition to their full-time job and other responsibilities. According to the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, caregivers often neglect their own health needs, putting them at risk for conditions like heart disease. Your self-care is important so you can keep helping the person you love.

Connect with professional organizations and network with other caregivers.

As a caregiver, you already have enough on your plate, so we’ve put together resources that you can turn to for help.
